The Green redevelops a complete building block in the coastal town of Nieuwpoort. The scale of the site is a particular opportunity to bring a new dynamic into the urban centre.

The building’s architecture is built around the expressive horizontal layering of white architectural concrete terraces.
The large outdoor spaces, crucial for the seaside apartments, create privacy as well as openness and attempts to minimalize the boundary between the indoor and outdoor space.
By adding extensive green pockets, the building becomes recognisable and surprisingly playful. It enhances the quality of living as well as the quality of the street.
