Lake District is a masterplan for a mixed-use development on a key site in the coastal town of Knokke-Heist. Located along the main artery to the town and next to its railway station, the development and its landmark 14-storey building transforms the entrance of Knokke.

The 14-storey tower is the most visible of the three buildings in the masterplan through its height and characteristic architecture. The horizontal layering of the building in white architectural concrete is further accented by its glass balustrades and curves. The shape of the building is asymmetric, and dynamically greets people entering Knokke.

The mixed-program comprises 166 apartments, a 40-bedroom hotel, 5.000 m² of terraces and 4.000 m² of office and retail space. The ground floor of all three buildings is used as retail or office space and lightens up the pedestrian-friendly and green public space.
